Clarence River Meet June 2012

Ninety swimmers braved the wet and cold weather to attend the Clarence River Masters Swim Meet at Yamba on the June long weekend.

The wet and cool conditions did not dampen the enthusiasm of everyone who attended.  There were 91 swimmers from 23 NSW and Queensland clubs.

A feature of this event was the State of Origin relay - unfortunately for NSW, Queensland edged us out in the last metre of the race.

The swim meet was won by the home club Clarence River Masters. The winning visiting club was Twin Towns Masters. Full results available in the results section of the website.
